As a non-profit, purely academic magazine, the Journal of East Asia and International Law has decided to charge author Article Processing charge. This is an academic processing charge per paper and will allow us to make a published work available for free open access. The charge is payable by the author upon acceptance of the publication proposal and the peer review process begins shortly after payment. The publication charge is 100USD per 1,000 words including footnotes. If the paper is not published due to the fault of the Journal, the charge will be refunded.
